In recent years, cruise holidays have grown in popularity for offering more to passengers.
Cruise ship members are very professional when they’re on shift and are always there to help guests to have the best experience.
But with every job, workers will have things that they want to say to travellers – but simply can’t.
A former cruise ship member lifted the lid on what holidaymakers should never do when they’re onboard.
Speaking to Express.co.uk , Paul said there are certain activities on cruises which are far too expensive.
He said: “I wish I could tell passengers not to buy any photos of themselves on board. Way too pricey.
“Also to tell them not to play the casino slot machines. They set the payouts so low that hardly anybody wins a jackpot. And the lines can get away with it because we are in International Waters.”
Paul also advised customers to avoid balcony cabins because they’re a “waste of money for such a small area”.
Another thing he mentioned was to tip your Hotel Steward on the first day to ensure you get lots of freebies and better service throughout the journey.
He added: “Ask them if you can get any amenities for them while you are off the ship and they cannot get off that port day. You will be their Rock Star for life.”
